Image quality is no longer a constraint. To help you achieve exceptional visual results, the application supports Ultra High Definition Export—with resolutions up to 8K. This capability requires the LuxCore Add-on to be enabled.

Why Choose 8K Export?

While exporting in 8K may take slightly longer, it delivers dramatically enhanced clarity and detail compared to previous options. The goal is to significantly enhance the visual fidelity of your final projects.

Supported Export Resolutions

You can export your project in the following formats:

2K UHD: 1920 × 1080
4K UHD: 3840 × 2160
8K UHD: 7680 × 4320
Custom Size: Up to 7680 pixels (width) and 4320 pixels (height)

To reduce overall rendering time, consider lowering the default duration setting. The system currently defaults to 1800 seconds – longer durations will increase rendering time proportionally, but also result in higher-quality renderings.

How to Use the 8K Export Feature

Launch the Application.

Select a sample project or create a new one.

Open the project in 3D View.

Go to File → Export → 3D Image.

A new export window will appear with multiple customization options.

In the export window, you’ll find a range of options to tailor your output. You can choose the Export Format—BMP, JPEG, PNG, or TIFF—based on your preferred file type. Under Export Quality, select between Photo-Realistic Rendering or 3D Rendering, depending on the visual style you’re aiming for. Finally, set your desired resolution under Size: opt for 2K, 4K, or 8K, or define a Custom Size with a maximum width of 7680 pixels and a height of up to 4320 pixels.
